Covid 19 vaccine help encourage people who are immunosuppressed

As we progress toward confirming a go-live date for One Health and Care, the new digital shared care record for the Black Country and West Birmingham, we are seeking your support to make local people aware of this new system before launch.

One Health and Care will bring together a view of the records from health and care organisations across the system, enabling authorised professionals who are directly involved in a person’s care to view their most up-to-date information, ensuring consistent, joined-up care.

It’s important that local people understand what One Health and Care is, its benefits, how the NHS and partners keep their data safe, and what they should do if they object to their information being included in the system.

We have compiled an online toolkit with a range of resources to share with your patients or service users. We would ask that you please use the supplied copy on your website or in newsletters, as this signposts to our comprehensive online resource one-health-care.net where people can obtain all the information they need, or find out who to contact if they need more support.

If you would like to do more, in the toolkit you will find assets for download including information leaflets, videos and graphics, which you can use across your channels as you wish.

If you prefer hard copy leaflets and posters to display in your premises, please email us with the desired quantity and a name/address for delivery. If you would like the project team to present about One Health and Care to any of your groups or networks, we are happy to facilitate – please send all requests to communications.bcwb@nhs.net.
